Career Services

Through Career Services, students and alumni of Drexel University Sacramento are provided with these free, lifelong services.

Career Counseling/Coaching

Career development is a process, not a destination. Students and alumni can meet with the Manager of Career Services to address any of these issues:

  • developing an effective resume, cover letter or CV
  • mastering the interview process
  • conducting a successful job search or career change
  • strategizing how to build or strengthen a professional network
  • negotiating a job offer
  • finding a professional mentor

Career Assessments

As part of the career counseling process, career assessments are also available. The purpose of the assessments and subsequent interpretation is to help students:

  • clarify their interests as they relate to academic programs and career choices
  • understand how certain personality factors affect career decision making and selection
  • strengthen the quality of essential application materials (resume, cover letter, etc.)
  • identify their motivators and preferences in order to make a better match between personalities and work settings

Currently, there are no General Information Sessions scheduled. Please contact us at sacramento@drexel.edu or 916-325-4600 to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
