Drexel University's Center for Graduate Studies builds upon a 116-year tradition of academic excellence. When U.S. News & World Report recently asked university administrators nationwide to name schools that best demonstrate "the most promising and innovative changes in academics, faculty, students, campus, or facilities," Drexel ranked near the top.

First in Academic Quality

The Bennett S. LeBow College of Business part-time MBA program is ranked No. 1 in the nation, and Top 10 overall for the second straight year. Programs are rated best for job changers, and their curricula received an "A-plus" — BusinessWeek.

Top 100 National Universities

For the seventh consecutive year, Drexel has been ranked in the category of Best National Universities in “America's Best Colleges” by U.S.News & World Report. The University placed 88th overall in the 2010 rankings, the second consecutive year that Drexel has reached the top 100.

Schools to Watch

Drexel ranked fourth among national universities in the 2010 U.S. News list of the nation’s top “up-and-coming schools.” The magazine asked university administrators nationwide to name schools that have demonstrated “the most promising and innovative changes in academics, faculty, students, campus, or facilities.” Drexel has been in the top 10 both years in which this list has been published, ranking sixth in 2009.

College of Information Science and Technology in Top 5

The college is ranked number three nationally for its specialized programs in information systems, and number six nationally for its program in digital librarianship. The college rates number one on the West Coast in the information systems specialty, and is the top program in California in Digital Librarianship.

School of Education in Top 10

The School of Education graduate program is 9th among national private universities

New U.S. News & World Report Rankings Show The iSchool at Drexel in the Top 10, Number One on the West Coast

The iSchool at Drexel's Master of Science in Library and Information Science (MS) is now ranked among the top 10 library science programs in the nation, according to U.S.News & World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools." The program was rated 9th in the nation overall, and is in the top two among private colleges and universities. It is the number-one rated library science program on the West Coast. The iSchool's National Rankings for its specialties in Information Systems and Digital Librarianship came in at numbers three and six respectively. The college also ranked fifth under the Library and Information Studies specialty rankings for health librarianship.

School of Education Ranking Rises Above Local Schools

The faculty and professional staff of Drexel's School of Education and Goodwin College are proud to announce that, in US News & Report's Best Education Schools most recent rankings, Drexel's School of Education ranked 54th this year with a score of 56, up 11 positions from 65th ranking last year.

Top 100

CIO magazine presented Drexel with a 2006 CIO 100 award for being among the nation's top 100 organizations that have distinguished themselves by creating business value though the effective and innovative use of IT.

Top 25 Most Connected Campuses

In 2006, Drexel was named one of America's "Top 25 Most Connected Campuses" by The Princeton Review (in conjunction with Forbes.com).

Top 10

In October 2006, Entrepreneur Magazine ranked the LeBow College of Business third in the nation for undergraduate entrepreneurship programs, and seventh for graduate programs.
