MSN Nursing Leadership in Health Systems Management
Dean's Greeting
Gloria F. Donnelly, PhD, RN, FAAN
Dean and Professor, College of Nursing and Health Professions
Dear Students;
For those working in healthcare, these are the best of times and the worst of times. The best of health care includes a growing body of scientific evidence to guide nursing practice, the availability of technological tools to make the work of nurses more efficient and a renewed national focus on improving access to care. At the same time we are struggling with a mounting nursing shortage of not only staff nurses but of nurse leaders and faculty to teach the future generations.
Drexel University, College of Nursing and Health Professions has long tradition of educating nurses and we are bringing two of our best graduate nursing programs to Sacramento; Master of Science in Nursing Programs to prepare nursing administrators and nursing faculty. Our programs are a blend of in person and online formats taught by experienced and enthusiastic full time nursing faculty who are eager to add one more option for California nurses. We look forward to working with you beginning fall, 2009!
Sincerely,
Gloria F. Donnelly, PhD, RN, FAAN
