Welcome, and thank you for your interest in The iSchool at Drexel's Sacramento-based Academic Programs.
As the world becomes more and more technologically advanced, it is clear the benefits that come from an iSchool education are seemingly limitless. We live during a time when there is an ever increasing demand for better, more efficient information technologies focused on the access, protection, management, use, and distribution of information in all forms, and this is why The iSchool at Drexel is committed to preparing the next generation of leaders in the information field (iField).
The iField is a term developed by the iSchools Caucus, a consortium of 21 information schools committed to the study of relationships between information, technology, and people, and of which The iSchool at Drexel is a founding member. Information is the commodity provided by those working in the iField: The right information delivered at the right time to the right people in the right form.
Furthering the mission of the caucus, The iSchool at Drexel is offering innovative master's programs in Information Systems and Library and Information Science here in Sacramento. These programs will prepare students to succeed in leading corporations, organizations, and society as a whole in the information age.
