Curriculum
The MS in Human Resource Development program is 45 credit hours consisting of 39 credits of coursework and a six-credit capstone course that includes a co-op assignment and results in the submission of a professional portfolio.
Students will be required to complete fifteen 10-week courses, including 9 core courses (27 credit hours), 4 concentration courses (12 credit hours), and 2 capstone courses (totaling 6 credit hours). Part-time students (those taking two courses per term) will be able to complete the program in 2 years.
The three available areas of concentration each pull from additional coursework:
- Human Resource Development in Business Settings...draws courses from the LEAD MBA curriculum.
- Human Resource Development in Educational Settings...draws courses from the Masters of Science in Educational Administration: Collaborative Leadership curriculum.
- Human Resource Development in Global Settings...draws courses from Drexel's extensive graduate global and international education expertise.
Students who pursue a concentration will master the:

- Mentoring and collaborative leadership skills essential in education
- Conflict resolution skills crucial in international relations
