Dr. José Luis Chávez joined the School of Education in Sacramento as the lead professor of the Master of Science in Higher Education Program. Dr. Chávez brings 28 years of experience in education, ranging from K–12 public schools to community colleges to four-year universities, where he served in various administrative positions in student services and academic affairs. Rebecca Clothey, PhD
Program: MS Higher Education
Dr. Clothey joined the faculty of Drexel University in 2006 and became the Director of the Master's of Science in Higher Education (MSHE) program in spring 2007. Since taking on that role, the program has shown rapid growth and expansion, including the launch of the hybrid model of the program in Sacramento. In addition to overseeing the MSHE programs based in Philadelphia and in Sacramento, Dr. Clothey has also served as the co-Director of the Global & International Education program since the spring of 2008.
