Sacramento Commencement Schedule and Events

Drexel University is proud to announce our 6th annual Sacramento Commencement Ceremony. A reception hosted by Provost M. Brian Blake will follow immediately after the ceremony in Friedman Court (inside).

Tickets

Each student will be allowed to reserve up to four tickets. The deadline to reserve tickets is May 27, 2016. If you require additional tickets, please submit requests to Mayra Zamora (mjz49@drexel.edu) with the number of tickets you would like, beyond the initial four. Additional tickets will be awarded starting June 6th depending upon availability.

Register for Commencement

Students are encouraged to network with classmates to obtain extra tickets and should not expect to receive more than four extra tickets from the University.

Parking

Parking is available on the street surrounding the museum. Graduates and guests will be responsible for their own parking. Please note that the Drexel University parking garage will not be open for parking on Commencement.

Accommodations

Under a longstanding arrangement with the Embassy Suites Sacramento - Riverfront Promenade, conveniently located across the street from Drexel University's Center for Graduate Studies, Drexel faculty, staff, students, and their guests are eligible for premium services and a special "Drexel rate". The hotel is a two-block walk from the Crocker Art Museum, and is an ideal place for guests to stay. Drexel receives no fee or commission from Embassy Suites; this offer is extended to our guests simply as a courtesy.
