Enrollment Checklist
Welcome to the Center for Graduate Studies. Drexel has organized all of your "To Do" items in an easy to follow Guide to Enrollment. You can expect the kind of personal, hands-on attention and responsiveness that comes with a private university education and experience.
Step 1: Confirm your Attendance
New students must submit the following to the Graduate Admissions office in Philadelphia prior to registration/Orientation:

Matriculation form (PDF)
- Nonrefundable tuition deposit
- Sacramento Leadership Fellowship Agreement (if applicable)
- Final transcripts or any required documentation (if applicable)
Note: Official transcripts must be submitted prior to the first day of classes. Students who are unable to meet this deadline must contact Graduate Admissions at 1-800-2-DREXEL to provide information on when transcripts will be released.
Step 2: Contact Your Advisor
Once you have confirmed your attendance by sending the matriculation form to Graduate Admissions, your academic advisor will contact you to discuss first term courses. If you need to speak with him or her prior to that, contact the appropriate advisor from among the following:

Step 3: Register for Classes
When to Register
Registration for new students typically begins approximately five weeks before the start of the term. Registration for continuing students begins four weeks into the previous term. For example, registration for the winter term begins four weeks after the start of the fall term.
Registering for Classes
Your advisor will register you for classes for the first term that you attend. For subsequent terms, your advisor will help you through the online registration process.
Step 4: Establish Student Status
Activate Your Computer Accounts
Visit http://accounts.drexel.edu and follow the instructions to activate your account after your matriculation form has been processed.
Access DrexelOne
DrexelOne is the University's portal for online resources, both internal and external. With DrexelOne, students can check email or their calendar, use BannerWeb, register for classes, visit course websites, and view transcripts and eBills. Log in to DrexelOne with your computer account user ID (ex., abc34) and your password at http://one.drexel.edu. Your advisor will help you through the steps.
DragonCard
The DragonCard is your University identification card. Students can have their ID photo taken during Orientation at the center in Sacramento. DragonCards will be available for pickup within two weeks of Orientation.
Step 5: Obtain Books
The University bookstore, operated by Barnes & Noble, sells required textbooks and Drexel gift items and apparel. Students will receive notice from their program department of books to purchase in advance of each class. Students may buy and reserve books online through the bookstore website and have them mailed to them. Textbooks are generally available one week before classes.

Step 6: Prepare for Orientation
Once you have confirmed your plans to attend Drexel University Center for Graduate Studies, you will receive details in the mail regarding Orientation. This information will arrive a few weeks prior to the start of the term. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Center for Graduate Studies at 888-389-3781.
Step 7: Get to Know Student Services
General Information
As a new student, you may come into contact with some or all of the following Main Campus offices and organizations. A brief description of each, along with contact information, is included for easy reference.
Billing
The Office of Student Accounts/Bursar handles general billing questions, inquiries concerning tuition refunds and credits, tuition remission, and authorized direct company billing.

Financial Aid
With regard to student loans and other financial aid options, call 1-877-DREXEL-5 to speak with a representative from EdFinancial Services, a company that provides a call center with trained staff members to provide independent expert advice about paying for college.

Disability Services
The University makes every effort to ensure that all reasonable accommodations are made for students with disabilities. Available services and resources include accessible classrooms/furniture, assistive computer technology, large-print computer screens, document conversion (Braille, large print, taped, and alternative print formats); testing accommodation, such as extended time, use of basic calculator etc.; copies of overhead materials or enlarged handouts; and accessible parking spaces. Parking
Students may park in the One Capitol Mall garage on the night of class. From the front of the building, follow Neasham Circle around the building past the monthly parking and turn right. Turn right again into valet parking. Your keys will be left with the lobby security guard for retrieval after classes. Drexel has negotiated a discounted fee of $3 per evening.
Note: The red-brick parking structure next to One Capitol Mall is owned by the city and charges $1.50 per half hour.
Security
One Capitol Mall employs a security guard who is stationed in the lobby. In case of emergency, please call 911. For other assistance, such as building access, you may call the guard station at 916-446-3523. The guard is on duty while classes are in session.
Step 8: Access Career Services
Steinbright Center for Career Development
The Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC) will provide the following services to Sacramento students:
Career Counseling
The SCDC offers career counseling and career assessments, including personality and interest inventories. Additionally, career guidance regarding job search strategies is offered. Topics include interviewing behavior, networking, and job/ salary negotiation.
Workshops
The SCDC will offer workshops on site in Sacramento, covering such topics as resume writing, job search skills, strategies for promotion with current employers, and success in the workplace. Check back for a calendar of events.
Upon graduation, students are eligible for the full array of services provided by the office of Alumni Relations as well as services offered by the SCDC.
