Dr. Brian Moffitt is an Adjunct Professor for the Human Resource Development (HRD) program at Drexel University. Dr. Moffitt has been helping individuals, teams and organizations make positive change through training, facilitation and consultation for over 20 years.
He received his bachelor's and master's degree in communication from Bridgewater State College in Massachusetts and his doctorate in leadership studies from the University of San Diego. From 2001 – 2009 he was the Organizational Development Manager for the City of Sacramento, where he and his team provided training, career development, wellness, inclusion/diversity and continuous improvement services.
Dr. Moffitt won the Sacramento Workplace Excellence Leadership (SWEL) award in 2003 and 2008 from the Sacramento Human Resource Association and the 2010 "Outstanding Teacher Award" from the University of San Francisco. A published author, Dr. Moffitt also taught graduate classes in leadership and organization development for the University of San Francisco (Sacramento Campus) and Golden Gate University.
He is currently the principal consultant for his consulting company, "Good Work NOW!", as well as the producer/host of the webcast of the same name. In addition to teaching at Drexel, Dr. Moffitt also teaches communication at Keiser University and doctoral-level leadership classes with the University of Phoenix.
