Daryn Eikner, MS

Professor Eikner has an accomplished career in public health programs, training and performance at the federal and local levels. She has served as a faculty member at the Drexel University School of Public Health since 2006 facilitating classes that address behavioral assessment, community assessment, and program planning and evaluation.

In addition to her role with the School of Public Health, Professor Eikner is the Director of Service Improvement at the Family Planning Council (FPC) in Philadelphia. At the FPC she provides oversight for quality improvement and training and performance improvement functions. Prior to assuming this position, she served as the Director of Training and Performance Improvement at the FPC, which houses one of ten DHHS funded Training Centers. Previously, Professor Eikner spent 14 years as a Public Health Program Manager and Advisor with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in its STD, HIV and Immunization Programs.

Professor Eikner earned a Masters Degree in Adult Education and Instructional Design from Rutgers University, and a certificate in Distance Learning. She received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University.
