Leon Schjoedt, PhD
Program: Masters Business Administration, Masters in Finance

Born in Denmark, Dr. Schjoedt comes to Drexel with considerable international teaching experience. He spent two years teaching at Copenhagen Business School and also taught four summers at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Schjoedt served the last two years as a business professor at the University of Central Florida, where he taught entrepreneurship, strategic innovation management, and strategic management.
Before that, Dr. Schjoedt was a faculty member at Illinois State University for six years. He is currently serving on four editorial review boards of prestigious international journals in entrepreneurship, management, and education. His research focuses on entrepreneurial behavior and his work has appeared in many prestigious journals. After receiving a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics and Languages at Southern Denmark Business School, Dr. Schjoedt received an MBA from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and in 2002 earned a Ph.D from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
