Ramya Ghosh

Dr. Ramya Ghosh joined the Center for Graduate Studies in Fall 2010 as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Economics at LeBow College of Business. He teaches BUS 507, BUSN 508, ECON 601, ECON 630 and INTB 620.

He received his Masters in Economics from the University of San Francisco and his PhD in Economics from Claremont Graduate University. His area of expertise is in international finance and his current research interests are in international capital flows, capital controls, exchange rate and monetary policies. He has published research articles in the Journal of Financial Economic Policy, Macroeconomics and Finance in Emerging Market Economies, and the International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies.

Prior to joining Drexel University, Dr. Ghosh taught Economics and Finance at University of California - Irvine, California State Polytechnic University - Pomona, Citrus College and Chaffey College. He was also a consultant for the World Bank and the evaluation office of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, DC.
